About the pressed flower images:
I recently discovered the art of pressed flowers. Looking for something unique to do with my images, I experimented with combining the two art forms.

The backgrounds are fine art, archival ink jet prints of my own photos printed on watercolor paper. Some began as black and white images which have been hand colored, some are enhanced with pencils and chalk. Still others were hand painted pastels.

Each piece is unique. While I may use the same background again, due to the nature of the flowers, subsequent works with the same background will be different.
